The community spent a lot of money and effort to install rubber chips into the playground area. This provided a cleaner and safer area for kids to play. We are finding a lack of supervision at the playground, with the rubber chips being thrown all over. We hope you use and enjoy the playground, but the area is being abused.
Rubber chips are being thrown all over out into the landscaping area and surrounding properties. Digging in the rubber chips is probably pretty fun. Some kids are going way beyond that and have dug deep holes way down into the old sand and are pulling all the old sand up into the rubber chips. The dog waste station bags are being taken and filled with rubber chips and then thrown around.
Thank you for taking a moment to sit down and visit with your kids about this. Please use and enjoy the playground, but please don't abuse it. it is too nice of an area and amenity to let get trashed.
